Portable Band Saw
The Makita portable band saw features a large cutting capacity of 4-3/4 Inch x 4-3/4 Inch and provides a superior tool balance. Integral fluorescent job light illuminates the cutting line even in dark places. Speed control dial can be used to vary the operational speed to suit the applications. Aluminum frame provides added strength and durability and the rubber guard bumpers prevent any damage to the device. This band saw is powered by a 6.5 Amp motor that delivers a speed of 200 to 350 FPM. Blade tightening lever makes it easy and quick to change the blades. Dual ball bearing guides helps in delivering accurate results. The no lock-on mechanism turns off the saw when the switch is released. Front handle can be adjusted easily for better control while operating. Stopper plate gives good flexibility when cutting different-sized materials. Hanger hook facilitates the storage of the tools. This band saw is an ideal solution for metal cutting applications such as pipes, Unistrut, all-thread, angle iron and more. The saw comes with a portable band saw blade, a hex wrench and a wrench holder.
